We are in the final phase of the renovation of a two-level apartment in a residential area in the outskirt of Rome. The layout of the apartment was modified to expand the kitchen area. The project was also focused on the careful choice of materials, ranging from 3D tiles, customised wooden boiserie, wallpapers and marbles of different shades.In the image a glimpse of the staircase area.

We have recently completed the interior design planning of ​​an apartment located near Zurich. The planning was focused more on the living and dining area. The aim of the project, based on a combination of home furnishing and design elements, was to create a functional and coordinated space according to the needs of the clients. It was a great pleasure to support once again IKEA Mexico for the implementation of many room-sets in the new Guadalajara store. Our work was concentrated mainly in the Showroom entrance and in some room-sets in the first cluster of the living-room area. In the photo a pictures of one of the implemented room-set.

We have supported IKEA Kuwait, both for the planning and the on-site implementation phase, for a very stimulating project dedicated to the business clients. It was an engaging team work that saw the creation of a micro city indoor with 'buildings' with colored facades and different settings linked to many professional and commercial activities.

The space hosts executive offices, hotel rooms, a café, a beauty center and much much more. In particular, our support was concentrated in the design of an open office for a young marketing agency, a meeting room, a hotel room and an interior design studio. We have just completed the interior design plan for an apartment located in the heart of the historic Garbatella district in Rome. The project focused more on some rooms and on the studio. The result of the planning phase, based on a combination of selected wallpapers, materials, colors and furnishing together with design elements, was to create functional and coordinated spaces in tune with the needs of the client. A brilliant armochromist commissioned us to design the interior of her new workspace. A small place in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Rome. The project aim was to transform a cold and anonymous space into a welcoming studio, with an industrial atmosphere with touches of elegance and colour, where the clients can be welcomed. A new and pleasant collaboration with IKEA Mexico led us to plan and implement the new room-sets in the Children and Outdoor areas of their Mexico City store. The project provided customized spaces for the local Mexican market. The result was a mix of colors and atmospheres full of inspiration. It was a great pleasure to support IKEA Italy for the implementation of many room-sets within the new store in Rome Fiumicino. Our work was mainly concentrated in the showroom in some room-sets in the living room area, dining area and in some kitchens. In the photo a detail of one of the room-sets implemented.

We’ve created a specialistic training for coaching the junior Communication&Interior design team of IKEA Oceanía store in Mexico City. The 3 weeks of training have been conceived as a mix of theoretical parts in the classroom and many workshops on the shopfloor to improve the home furnishing solutions. Passion and commitment of the team have been extraordinary.

We have planned the interior design spaces of a prestigious penthouse in the heart of the Aventino in Rome. The concept of the space envisaged a contemporary and elegant atmosphere achieved through a very careful study of the finishes, the materials used together with several bespoken carpentry works. We are on the last phase of a renovation of a small apartment in a residential area in northern Rome. The layout was revisited by the project through demolition and construction of new partition walls. The client's request was to create a fresh, young and colourful space. The use of materials such as concrete combined with geometric patterns and colour accents on the walls helped to reinforce a young and informal mood. Click on the image to view more.

In collaboration with Laura Fusar Poli from Collezione Concreta design studio we have conceived and curated ‘IMMAGINO ESPRIMO REINVENTO’ an interior design workshop divided into 6 modules held every two weeks. The workshop traces, through the different modules, all the phases of an interior design project from the creation of the moodboard, to the study of the layout, from the choice of materials to the study of a correct lighting. Addressing a target of non-experts, the workshop explains the covered topics in a simple and intuitive way, involving the participants in shared activities. The workshop takes place at the Collezione Concreta design studio in the heart of Trastevere in Rome. 

It was a great pleasure to support IKEA South-East Europe for the implementation of many room-sets in the new Ljubliana store. Our work was concentrated mainly in the showroom, especially in some room-sets in the livingroom area, IKEA work, dining and some kitchens. In the photo some pictures of the implemented room-sets.

A new and stimulating collaboration with IKEA France has led us to plan some inspirational areas and the planning area for their new plan&order point which will open this summer in the center of Nice. The new small city store will offer some kitchen and wardrobe solutions, assisted and self-planning areas plus two range overviews to show the modularity of their systems. We have just completed the interior design plan for an apartment located in an exclusive area of Zurich for a private client. We’ve focused more on the study rooms, on the terrace and on some changes to the living area where prestigious piece of furnishing were already present. The result of this project, based on a refined combination of wallpapers, materials, colours and iconic elements of furniture and design, was achieved thanks to the harmony between our design proposals and the requests of the client. The new sustainable home of IKEA brings our signature and will be adapted as globlal solution in all IKEA showrooms across the world. It was a unique and rewarding experience to collaborate with the whole project team in the London store in Greenwich. The guidelines have been the search for eco-sustainable solutions for a home where everything is designed to minimize waste and reduce the impact on our planet. The goal was to offer not only a functional and well-furnished space but above all to suggest a new lifestyle through solutions and natural, renewable materials. You’ll find soon an entire section dedicated to this project on our website with photos and explanations of the proposed solutions. Another successfully collaboration with the marketing team of IKEA Switzerland which supported the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympics Committee with the interiors of the Vortex, a massive structure that will host the Olympic village during  the winter games and that will be turned into university accommodation after that. Our contribute was concentrated in planning the Yodli café. A space of 375 m2 inside a tensile structure in the center of the Vortex with the function of meeting point for athletes. A multifunctional and flexible space with lounge areas, cafè and spaces for interviews and interactive games. In the picture above two 3D views extracted from the final project.

We are pleased to communicate that we have collaborated and contributed with the IKEA CH marketing team & ICOM Sweden to the planning from remote of a home that will be published on the next IKEA 2021 catalogue. We’ll show you the results once the catalogue is released in August 2020. Stay tuned!

IKEA, in a joint-venture with Sonos, has produced a system of wireless speakers that combine the beauty of design with the functionality of a perfect sound. We were honored to have been called to plan the launch of this system in Rome in the spaces of the two city stores. In Piazza San Silvestro we have planned and styled the entrance area of the store while in Rome Ostiense, on the first floor, we have designed a bedroom where to show the potential of the new audio system. We have collaborated with IKEA Switzerland in their Rothenburgh store, near Luzern, for a re-styling of their customer restaurant. The challenge was to improve and increase the level of inspiration and home furnishing feeling by turning an almost aseptic space into a pleasant experience for customers through the use of new structures, colours and furnishing elements. In cooperation with Hope&Glory PR agency, we have supported Sony Europe for a press release with some paragraphs in a report about the evolution of the living room over the last 60 years. The aim of our contribute was to provide some comments and insights that formed part of their press outreach. We have written 6  paragraph, one for each decade, summing up the most relevant trends and how the television and new technologies have affected the way to furnish the living room over the years. We are on the last phase of a renovation of a flat in a quirk and picturesque  village of the 1600s on the outskirts of Rome. The flat has been completely transformed by a new layout of the internal spaces through the demolition and construction of new walls. The materials used, such as afrormosia wood for the flooring, calacatta marble for the horizontal surfaces and wallpaper with geometric patterns  have contributed to strongly characterize the interiors. We have just finished to style the roomsettings in the new SR entrance we have planned for the IKEA Villiers store in Paris. 4 different moods and colours  (from a calmy  total white to a dramatic  dark blue, leading to a bright orange to a rough rustic  grey)  and  different  functions (1 home, 1 bedroom with en-suite, 1 kitchen and 1 livingroom)  to let the visitors engage a journey  through the different  atmospheres and  home furnishing solutions. This project  also relied on an important  multi-sensory part   through  full -height projections with slow- motion images with sounds and smells to strengthen the involvement and the curiosity of the visitors. The multi-sensory part has been replaced with a temporary communication and will be implemented on  the next autumn. For more pics click on the image to go to  the dedicate pages.

In cooperation with IKEA UK|IE, their PR team and Hope&Glory PR agency we have been tasked with designing the space for the IKEA Reading Room (see above the 3D animation of the plan). The temporary event, which also acted as a space to reveal the Man Booker Prize winner, has been hosted in IKEA Wembley store in London. The purpose was to encourage people to ‘relax into greatness’ in their homes, and in particular, their living rooms. The IKEA Reading Rooms is conceived as a space that champions reading and enables customers to relax into greatness whilst escaping the hustle and bustle of our everyday. Design plan by Demidesign. It has been a pleasure to support IKEA Italy and the extraordinary team of the Pop-up store with the styling of their kitchens. This IKEA temporary store, fully dedicated to the world of  kitchens, was opened last spring in the heart of Rome at Piazza San Silvestro. Our work consisted of styling and revitalizing through a new prop&accessorize the eight kitchens in the store and help to give them and to the store a new refreshed life. In collaboration with IKEA France we have just finished to design and develop a new concept for the Showroom entrance space for the Villiers sur Marne store in Paris. The aim of the project was to create a new customer experience for visitors when entering the Showroom. Customers will experience an emotional  journey through colours and different moods together with home furnishing solutions, images, sounds and smells. It will come to life this summer. Stay tuned!

We designed&styled the space to support an IKEA UK/IE event organised by Hope&Glory PR agency.

A Victorian four-story house in the heart of Soho in London was hired and filled  with living-room sets that showcased and celebrated 30 years of life at home in the UK.

Each room set was dedicated to a different era (80s, 90s 2000s, 2010s and future). It was a physical way for IKEA to tell a story about the impact  it has had on how people live in the UK.

In every space, was celebrated the past, considered  the present but also looked  towards the future. Because the aim of the event wasn’t only to evoke the past but  also to tell the story of the next 30 years. Click on the button to be redirected to the dedicate page.
